This website has been designed and is managed by The Soap Shop, in these terms and conditions any reference to "we", "we're", "our", "ourselves" or "us" refers to The Soap Shop and in using this website and/or ordering products from us, you are agreeing to our terms and conditions.
Unlike other websites we do not ask our customers to register before they can purchase our products nor do we automatically sign you up for any account(s).

Privacy & Marketing
We have a separate Privacy & Cookies Policy which can be viewed here. We also securely maintain our own marketing database which is solely for our use and it is not sold on to any third parties nor is it used to promote any products/services outside of our direct portfolio. You can opt-in to our marketing at any time by e-mailing us on firstname.lastname@example.org , equally you may opt-out by e-mailing email@example.com . In addition, when you order we will also ask you to confirm your preference.
Anyone can order with us providing they accept these terms and conditions, all we ask is you complete your transaction through our secure payment facilities managed by Paypal or Google and that your orders are made by the credit or debit card holder and sent to the address registered with the holder. Once your order has been accepted and processed you will receive an e-mail within 12 hours, and a further e-mail once your order has been dispatched.
We are human and sometimes we do make genuine mistakes, this may result in an unsuccessful order or a failure to send emails on time. Whilst we cannot be held liable for this, we will do all we can to rectify any mistakes and will contact you immediately when we realise.
All of our products are made in small batches to ensure ultimate freshness, therefore on occasion something you have ordered may be unavailable, if this occurs do not worry as we will contact you and offer you an alternative product or a refund. Whilst we will always maintain the fragrance and ingredients of our products, now and again the colour or design may vary ever so slightly but this is the beauty of everything being handmade.
If you would prefer not to place your order on-line then you can simply telephone your order to us on +44 (0) 1582 881852, we are open Monday to Saturday 9:30am to 5:30pm and Sunday 10am to 5pm. E-Vouchers & Quoted Prices
All of our gift vouchers and promotional vouchers carry an e-voucher code which can be entered into our website during your order process.
Prices as stated on our website are in pounds sterling (£) with nothing to add. You will be charged in pounds sterling even if you don't live in the UK. Please keep an eye our for promotional codes which may be available for time to time on our site.
Cancelling and Returns
All orders placed with us are legally binding, if you do wish to cancel an order, please call us on +44 (0) 1582 881852 to inform us as soon as possible as once an order has been dispatched we will only be able to refund you upon receipt of the return items. If you want to return your order to us it has to reach us within 14 working days from the day after the day you received it. Once received we will process your refund within 30 days of receiving your return and cancellation advice. Please note that if you are returning the goods because you have changed your mind then please be aware we will not be able to refund the postage or the cost incurred for returning the goods.
Due to certain system restrictions we are not able to make amendments to your order, therefore if you wish to change your order we request that you call us on +44 (0) 1582 881852 so we can arrange to cancel your order and create a new one.
If your order is received damaged or the products received do not correlate to the description provided at point of sale we would ask that you contact us as soon as possible to arrange a refund, replacement or return. Once again we must stipulate that any returns must be sent to us within 14 days. Unfortunately we are not liable for any damage from improper handling by Royal Mail or any other courier. In cases where the wrong products have been received, we will arrange a refund and return and ensure that we cover any of your costs. None of our Terms and Conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
All product names, text, pictures and content design is protected by the relevant UK copyright and trademark laws.
